Create a simple, relaxing landscape surrounding the renovation of an old summer house. That was the direction given by our client. Combining the crispness of Maine Coast architecture with the softness of its landscape this design results in a relaxing destination with a natural, sustainable landscape appropriate for this shoreland location. Working closely with owners, the architects and building contractor multiple design options were studied to create the resulting retreat.
